OPM 1 Optical Power Meter
|

Specifications Sheet

Adapter Caps |
Product Overview:
This portable optical power meter may be used
to measure optical power (dBm) in premises, telco, or broadband fiber
optic networks. When used with an LED or laser light source, the OPM1
can also measure the attenuation (insertion loss) of multimode or
single-mode cables.
With only two controls – ON/OFF and wavelength – the OPM1 is our
simplest to use optical power meter. Optical power in dBm and the
calibration wavelength setting are displayed on an easy-to-read LCD
display. The optical input port accepts Noyes thread-on style connector
adapter caps. Adapter caps are required and must be ordered separately.
The OPM1 is fully N.I.S.T. traceable and runs on a standard 9-volt
alkaline battery.

Product Overview:
Do not confuse the small size of
the 560XL with its ability to provide powerful results. The optical power
meter is the perfect tool for installation and testing of fiber optic
cabling. The 560XL can be used to measure optical power or used in
conjunction with a LED or Laser source to perform insertion loss testing on
multimode and singlemode fiber optic cabling. The 560XL measures
optical power at 850nm, 1300nm, 1310nm and 1550nm. It can store reference
levels for faster, more efficient testing. The 560XL uses Snap On Connector
interface (SOC) to connect FC, SC and ST connectors.

T339E Enhanced Metal Case
Power Meter
|
 |
Product Overview:
The T339E
Enhanced Metal Case Power Meter is a ruggedized optical power meter designed
to withstand outdoor field environments. The new and improved Model T339E
utilizes advanced microprocessor technology to provide for easy, accurate
and stable calibration as well as error free, non volatile digital storage
of reference measurements.
This unit is a continuation of Wilcom’s widely used T339 series of
ruggedized optical power meters. The T339E unit has an easy to read four
digit LCD display for easy viewing and a InGaAs detector calibrated at four
wavelengths (850, 1300, 1310 and 1550nm). The unit is powered by three AA
Alkaline batteries, and can run on optional rechargeable NiCad batteries.
The unit provides user selectable modes allowing measurements in dBm,
microwatts, and relative power from +5dBm to –70 dBm. The unit also can
store a reference measurement for end-to-end loss measurements on multimode
fiber as well as measurements on singlemode fiber.
