Cordless
Convenience with Professional Grade Power
Heats instantly. Cools quickly.
Introducing the Weller® Pro Cordless Soldering Tool. Using the patented
ColdHeat™ system, the Weller Pro Cordless melts solder instantly and is cool
to the touch in just seconds. But unlike most other products using this new
technology, the Weller Pro Cordless has the punch industrial professionals
need to tin wire as large as 12 gauge or join wire from 18-25 gauge. With an
average yield of 700 solder joints per pack of five AA alkaline batteries,
it has what it takes to be an invaluable tool anywhere field soldering is
required. The Weller Pro Cordless Soldering Cold heat Tool… it’s a
21st century industrial revolution!
How it Works...The
Weller Pro Cordless Soldering Tool’s ability to heat instantly and cool
quickly begins with the unique ColdHeat tip design, which uses two
electrically insulated electrodes made of patented Athalite™ material to
form part of an internal electrical circuit. Unlike regular soldering irons,
the Weller Pro Cordless Soldering Tool does not require pre-heating the tip.
When the tip’s two electrodes make simultaneous contact with an electrically
conductive material (such as a wire lead, terminal, solder, or other
material), the circuit is completed. The electrodes generate nearly
instantaneous heat in the work piece, melting the solder and making the
joint.
