Fiber Optic Cleaning Kits

The fber optic kit for installation and maintenance, ITW Chemtronics has included only the cleaning CFK-1010
supplies necessary for making a successful 2.5mm fber optic connection. Electro-Wash PX precision
fber optic cleaner and QbE cleaning system are included for performing the CCp. Swabs are also
included for cleaning ferrules, alignment sleeves and backplace connections. Electro-Wash MX CFK-1000
premoistened wipes are included for tool and cable wiping. The swabs are packaged in rugged tubes
for feld operations. They are equipped with a carabineer to clip on a tool belt for transport or to clip a
cable for convenient access.

Fiber Optic Cleaning Kits

By using the specially formulated solvent, all contaminants are dissolved, static charge is neutralized
and particles are lifted without scratching the end-face. The customized wipers and swabs are used
to deliver the solvent to the end-face, entrap microscopic debris and absorb dissolved contaminants.
