MC 6 UTP Modular Cords

Siemon’s category 6 series of modular cords are key components to ensure
optimum channel performance of our category 6 UTP systems. A variety of product
enhancements contribute to the cord’s ground breaking performance including
250 MHz rated stranded cordage, a patented crosspair isolator and an innovative
360° crimp, which provides excellent plug-to-cable strain relief without causing pair
deformation. The cable used to manufacture the category 6 patch cords exceeds the
specifcations set forth by both ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801:2002.

MC5 UTP Modular Cords

Siemon uses the highest quality components combined with stringent manufacturing
processes to produce the best performing, most durable modular patch cords available.
The end result is a cord that exceeds all TIA/EIA and ISO/IEC component specifcations
for transmission performance. Additionally, Siemon transmission tests cords prior to
shipment, ensuring that Siemon customers never receive a non-compliant cord.

1) Save the cable jacket and separate the four cable wires cable jacket for a tight ft.

direction of the twist.
4) When you reach the end, pinch the wire inside and pull
outward to straighten.

connector and out the front. This allows the technician to
easily verify the proper wiring order. Electrical performance
of the termination is optimized by pulling the connector
down over the cable jacket and seating it tightly in the rear
